ENTRANCE ANTIPHON:
Blest be God the Father, and the Only Begotten Son of God, and also the Holy Spirit: for he has shown us his merciful love.
FIRST READING: Deuteronomy 4:32-34, 39-40.
RESPONSORIAL PSALM: Psalm 33.
RESPONSE: Blessed the people the Lord has chosen as his heritage.
1. The word of the lord is faithful, and all his works to be trusted. The Lord loves justice and right, and his merciful love fills the earth. ℟
2. By the word of the Lord the heavens were made, by the breath of his mouth all their host. He spoke, and it came to be. He commanded; it stood in place. ℟
3. Yes, the Lord’s eyes are on those who fear him, who hope in his merciful love, to rescue their souls from death, to keep them alive in famine. ℟
4. Our soul is waiting for the Lord. He is our help and our shield. May your merciful love be upon us, as we hope in you, O Lord. ℟
SECOND READING: Romans 8:14-17.
GOSPEL ACCLAMATION:
Alleluia, alleluia!
Glory be to the Father, and to the Son, and to the Holy spirit; to God who is, who was, and who is to come. Alleluia.
GOSPEL: Matthew 28:16-20.
SPIRITUAL COMMUNION PRAYER:
My Jesus,
I believe that you are present
in the Most Holy Sacrament.
I love You above all things,
and I desire to receive You in my soul.
Since I cannot at this moment
receive You sacramentally,
come at least spiritually into my heart.
I embrace You as if You were already there
and unite myself wholly to You.
Never permit me to be separated from You.
Amen.
COMMUNION ANTIPHON:
Since you are children of God, God has sent into your hearts the Spirit of his Son, the Spirit who cries out Abba, Father.
