ENTRANCE ANTIPHON:
The Spirit of the Lord has filled the whole world and that which contains all things understands what is said, alleluia.
FIRST READING: Acts 2:1-11.
RESPONSORIAL PSALM: Psalm 104.
RESPONSE:
Lord, send forth your Spirit, and renew the face of the earth.
1. Bless the Lord, O my soul! O Lord my God, how great you are. How many are your works, O Lord! The earth is full of your creatures. ℟
2. You take away their breath, they die, returning to the dust from which they came. You send forth your spirit, and they are created, and you renew the face of the earth. ℟
3. May the glory of the Lord last forever! May the Lord rejoice in his works! May my thoughts be pleasing to him. I will rejoice in the Lord. ℟
SECOND READING: Galatians 5:16-25.
GOSPEL ACCLAMATION: Alleluia, alleluia! Come, O Holy Spirit, fill the hearts of your faithful; and kindle in them the fire of your love. Alleluia.
GOSPEL: John 15:26-27; 16:12-15.
SPIRITUAL COMMUNION PRAYER:
My Jesus,
I believe that you are present
in the Most Holy Sacrament.
I love You above all things,
and I desire to receive You in my soul.
Since I cannot at this moment
receive You sacramentally,
come at least spiritually into my heart.
I embrace You as if You were already there
and unite myself wholly to You.
Never permit me to be separated from You.
Amen.
COMMUNION ANTIPHON:
They were all filled with the Holy Spirit, and spoke of the marvels of God, alleluia.
