ENTRANCE ANTIPHON

Let us all rejoice in the Lord, as we celebrate the feast day in honour of all the Saints, at whose festival the Angels rejoice and praise the Son of God.

FIRST READING: Revelation 7:2-4, 9-14.

RESPONSORIAL PSALM: Psalm 24.

RESPONSE:

These are the people who seek your face, O Lord.

1. The Lord’s is the earth and its fullness, the world, and all who dwell in it. It is he who set it on the seas; on the rivers he made it fi rm. ℟

2. Who shall climb the mountain of the Lord? Who shall stand in his holy place? The clean of hands and pure of heart, whose soul is not set on vain things. ℟

3. Blessings from the Lord shall he receive, and right reward from the God who saves him. Such are the people who seek him, who seek the face of the God of Jacob. ℟

SECOND READING: 1 John 3:1-3.

GOSPEL ACCLAMATION:

Alleluia, alleluia! Come to me, all who labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest, says the Lord. Alleluia.

GOSPEL: Matthew 5:1-12.

SPIRITUAL COMMUNION PRAYER:

My Jesus,

I believe that you are present

in the Most Holy Sacrament.

I love You above all things,

and I desire to receive You in my soul.

Since I cannot at this moment

receive You sacramentally,

come at least spiritually into my heart.

I embrace You as if You were already there

and unite myself wholly to You.

Never permit me to be separated from You.

Amen.

COMMUNION ANTIPHON:

Blessed are the clean of heart, for they will see God. Blessed are the peacemakers, for they will be called children of God. Blessed are they who are persecuted for the sake of righteousness, for theirs is the kingdom of heaven.
