Entrance Antiphon:
Be my protector, O God,
a mighty stronghold to save me.
For you are my rock, my stronghold!
Lead me, guide me, for the sake of your name.
First Reading: Jeremiah 17:5-8.
Responsorial Psalm: Psalm 1:1-4.6.
Response: Blessed the man who has placed his trust in the Lord.
Blessed indeed is the man who follows not the counsel of the wicked, nor stands in the path with sinners, nor abides in the company of scorners, but whose delight is the law of the Lord, and who ponders his law day and night. R/
He is like a tree that is planted beside the flowing waters, that yields its fruit in due season, and whose leaves shall never fade, and all that he does shall prosper.
Not so are the wicked, not so! R/
For they, like winnowed chaff, shall be driven away by the wind. For the Lord knows the ways of the just, but the way of the wicked will perish. R/
Second Reading: 1 Corinthians 15:12.16-20.
Gospel Acclamation:
Alleluia! Alleluia!
Rejoice and leap for joy, says the Lord,
for behold, your reward is great in heaven.
Alleluia!
Gospel: Luke 6:17.20-26.
Communion Antiphon:
They ate and had their fill,
and what they craved the Lord gave them;
they were not disappointed in what they craved.
SPIRITUAL COMMUNION PRAYER:
My Jesus,
I believe that you are present
in the Most Holy Sacrament.
I love You above all things,
and I desire to receive You in my soul.
Since I cannot at this moment
receive You sacramentally,
come at least spiritually into my heart.
I embrace You as if You were already there
and unite myself wholly to You.
Never permit me to be separated from You.
Amen.
