ENTRANCE ANTIPHON
Let my prayer come into your presence. Incline your ear to my cry for help, O Lord.
FIRST READING:
Wisdom 6:12-16.
RESPONSORIAL PSALM:
Psalm 63.
RESPONSE:
For you my soul is thirsting, O Lord, my God.
1. O God, you are my God; at dawn I seek you; for you my soul is thirsting. For you my fl esh is pining, like a dry, weary land without water. ℟
2. I have come before you in the sanctuary, to behold your strength and your glory. Your loving mercy is better than life; my lips will speak your praise. ℟
3. I will bless you all my life; in your name I will lift up my hands. My soul shall be fi lled as with a banquet; with joyful lips, my mouth shall praise you. ℟
4. When I remember you upon my bed, I muse on you through the watches of the night. For you have been my strength; in the shadow of your wings I rejoice. ℟
SECOND READING:
1 Thessalonians 4:13-18. GOSPEL ACCLAMATION: Alleluia, alleluia! Watch, therefore, and be ready; the Son of man is coming at an hour you do not expect. Alleluia.
GOSPEL:
Matthew 25:1-13.
SPIRITUAL COMMUNION PRAYER:
My Jesus,
I believe that you are present
in the Most Holy Sacrament.
I love You above all things,
and I desire to receive You in my soul.
Since I cannot at this moment
receive You sacramentally,
come at least spiritually into my heart.
I embrace You as if You were already there
and unite myself wholly to You.
Never permit me to be separated from You.
Amen.
COMMUNION ANTIPHON:
The Lord is my shepherd; there is nothing I shall want. Fresh and green are the pastures where he gives me repose, near restful waters he leads me.
