ENTRANCE ANTIPHON:
See, I have God for my help. The Lord sustains my soul. I will sacrifice to you with willing heart, and praise your name, O Lord, for it is good.
FIRST READING: Jeremiah 23:1-6.
RESPONSORIAL PSALM: Psalm 23.
RESPONSE: The Lord is my shepherd, there is nothing I shall want.
1. The Lord is my shepherd; there is nothing I shall want.
Fresh and green are the pastures where he gives me repose.
Near restful waters he leads me; he revives my soul. ℟
2. He guides me along the right path. for the sake of his name.
Though I should walk in the valley of the shadow of death,
no evil would I fear, for you are with me.
Your crook and your staff will give me comfort. ℟
3. You have prepared a table before me in the sight of my foes.
My head you have anointed with oil;
my cup is overflowing. ℟
4. Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life.
In the Lord’s own house shall I dwell for length of days unending. ℟
SECOND READING: Ephesians 2:13-18.
GOSPEL ACCLAMATION:
Alleluia, alleluia! My sheep hear my voice, says the Lord; and I know them, and they follow me. Alleluia.
GOSPEL: Mark 6:30-34.
COMMUNION ANTIPHON: The Lord, the gracious, the merciful, has made a memorial of his wonders; he gives food to those who fear him.
SPIRITUAL COMMUNION PRAYER:
My Jesus,
I believe that you are present
in the Most Holy Sacrament.
I love You above all things,
and I desire to receive You in my soul.
Since I cannot at this moment
receive You sacramentally,
come at least spiritually into my heart.
I embrace You as if You were already there
and unite myself wholly to You.
Never permit me to be separated from You.
Amen.
COMMUNION ANTIPHON: The Lord, the gracious, the merciful, has made a memorial of his wonders; he gives food to those who fear him.
