Corona Virus Prayer
Lord Jesus Christ, during your earthly ministry, at your command, the sick were made well. Come to our aid now in the midst of the global spread of the corona virus, that we may experience your healing love.
Give leaders of nations and communities the foresight to act with charity and true concern for the well-being of the people they are meant to serve. Give them the wisdom to invest in long-term solutions that will help prepare for or prevent future outbreaks.
Grant to all peoples the grace to respect the measures suggested that may curtail the spread of this virus.
We ask this in your Holy name. Amen

ENTRANCE ANTIPHON: I am the salvation of the people, says the Lord. Should they cry to me in any distress, I will hear them, and I will be their Lord forever.
FIRST READING: Isaiah 55:6-9.
RESPONSORIAL PSALM: Psalm 145.
RESPONSE: The Lord is close to all who call him.
I will bless you day after day, and praise your name forever and ever. The Lord is great and highly to be praised; his greatness cannot be measured. ℟
The Lord is kind and full of compassion, slow to anger, abounding in mercy. How good is the Lord to all, compassionate to all his creatures. ℟
The Lord is just in all his ways, and holy in all his deeds. The Lord is close to all who call him, who call on him in truth. ℟
SECOND READING: Philippians 1:20-24, 27.
GOSPEL ACCLAMATION: Alleluia, alleluia! Open our hearts, O Lord, that we may listen to the words of your Son. Alleluia.
GOSPEL: Matthew 20:1-16.
SPIRITUAL COMMUNION PRAYER: My Jesus, I believe that you are present in the Most Holy Sacrament. I love You above all things, and I desire to receive You in my soul. Since I cannot at this moment receive You sacramentally, come at least spiritually into my heart. I embrace You as if You were already there and unite myself wholly to You. Never permit me to be separated from You. Amen.
COMMUNION ANTIPHON: You have laid down your precepts to be carefully kept; may my ways be firm in keeping your statutes.
