Nuts and Bolts Friday

Friday week 14

Good morning.

Fr James sends his apologies for not being with you this morning. He had a busy afternoon at the office yesterday and was not able to record a video. Rest assured, however, that he is still alive and well – and raring to go!

I would like to use this opportunity to raise the thorny issue of finance this morning. We are now in Month 5 of the lockdown which means that the Sunday collection plate has been very idle lately. Regardless, the parish has ongoing expenses and we have had to dig deep into available funds in order to continue. Therefore, a passionate plea to please access the parish banking details and contribute an amount commensurate with whatever you would normally donate. Thank you very much.

On a happier note, it was good to see a number of you on the Zoom Chat last night. We will continue to do this every two weeks and I will send out the general invitation as I did yesterday. Please feel free to join whenever you want – and bring your own glass of wine or cup of coffee.

Have an amazing day. Keep a smile on your face and a song in your heart.

God Bless and stay safe. Dc Mike and the team.
