Blessed Sacrament Latest News

Saturday 2 January

Good morning! Happy New Year!

With the restrictions brought on by the Covid epidemic, there are a couple of adjustments that we have had to make.

Firstly, as you are aware, the church is closed until at least 17 January. Since the parish office is also closed at the moment, there is no bulletin this week. Please refer to the parish website or the link on this post to access any other useful information.

Secondly, due to Covid infections, we are regrettably unable to offer you a parish Mass online this week. Instead, Fr James has recorded a Liturgy of the Word based on the gospel for the Epiphany. We will post this for you tomorrow. Should you wish to participate in a Mass, we recommend those listed below or select from the many others online. There are several available on YouTube. We will recommence the Parish online Masses as soon as possible.

Fr James has also prepared an Epiphany House Blessing which comes to you today. This may be a special opportunity for the family to join in prayer at the beginning of the year.

We will resume your daily reflections as from Monday. We are grateful to those of you who have given us feedback on these. Please continue to do so. It is important that you find these relevant and spiritually uplifting as we hope that you have found them to be in the past.

We begin 2021 amid much uncertainty and frustration. Please keep Jesus in your heart and lives by beginning each day in prayer. While Love is undoubtably the most important gift, Faith and Hope are probably what we can relate to most easily at the moment.

God bless, stay at home and stay safe.

Dc Mike & the team.
